These professionals help you to get unstuck and find direction - one step at a time.  Through working with you, to examine within your own life, life guides make it easier to get out of your own head, so you can start taking action in the areas of your life that you want to change. A life journey guide assists you through the process by asking questions that help you take a deeper look at yourself, to help you decide which steps to take in order to reach your goal or make an important change.  Their work is not to decide, or tell you, what to do - their work is to assist you in doing the work yourself, so that you can take ownership of your life path and make it what you want it to be..   Life guides help their clients to recognize their skills, abilities and dreams which allows the client to refocus their goals and move past obstacles in their path to fulfillment.  Life guides have a variety of roles they take on during the process:  tactician, motivator, and accountability partner. A life guide is never a therapist or analyst - they guide you and assist you without dictating the steps.   The client does their own analysis and makes their own decisions.  Their goal is to help you attain your goals, which you set for yourself, in the most effective, efficient, and rewarding way possible. Life and wellness guides are more than just a mentor or consultant, they assist you in doing the work necessary to get through the process from beginning to end - walking with you as a partner in this portion of your life journey, and holding you accountable when you slack off or change directions.

Life guides may seem like a friend, at times, because they are there always encouraging, inspiring and are fully invested in helping you reach your goals.  However, this does not make them a friend, nor does it replace the importance of having personal friends. You can be sure that your life journey guide will, at times, be demanding and hard on you because you share a professional, goal-focused relationship.  Ultimately, when you succeed, they succeed - your triumphs are also their triumphs.  This is precisely why your life journey guide will hold you accountable to reaching your personal and professional goals. They will be there with you every step of the way to help you with tactics and strategies, as well as to encourage and motivate you  .A life and wellness guide will help you overcome the road blocks along the way, give you that hand up you need when you’re stuck in a rut, cheer for you when you meet your goals, and then challenge you to get out there and conquer even more goals.  Likewise, when you fall short (as we all do at times), your life guide will ask the tough questions behind the "why" and help set you back on your way.  Your life guide works with you - not for you - to assist you in being, doing, and having all that you desire from life.  Your guide will help shine the light down the path - it's up to you to map it out and actually walk it.

Most everyone has a vision of what they want their life to look like.  We all imagine "what I want to be when I grow up."  That can be just about any dream - pro athlete, successful business owner, artist, restaurateur, corporate executive, happy, fulfilled.  But, for many of us, we struggle and get stuck on our journey, or sometimes just feeling that we have a fulfilling life.  Perhaps a life journey guide could be what you need to help you get "unstuck" or see your way "through a new lens." A life journey guide is sometimes referred to "life coach", "wellness coach", life and wellness guide."  Regardless of the terms used, a life guide is a someone who can help you look deeper within yourself and then set goals which make a change in your life. Just like the coaches who push athletes to greatness in sports, life and wellness guides provide their clients the guidance and drive needed to improve a variety of aspects in their lives, such as their relationships, careers, wellness, or even just their life, in general.
